Front of House Co-ordinator
Charlotte Hetherington joined Spike Island as Front of House Coordinator in September 2008 after completing an internship at Picture This.She is responsible for the Front of House Reception area and also plays a lead role in co-ordinating the invigilation team.

David Martin joined Spike Island in October 2009 as the Technical Gallery Manager.

Gemma Wright joined Spike Island in December 2009 having relocated to Bristol after 4 years with Leicester Print Studios to take up an MA in printmaking at UWE.

Lucy Drane was appointed Co-ordinator of the Spike Island Associates in September 2009 and is responsible for the organisation and facilitation of trips, talks and socials, inducting new members and representing the Associates programme at events and conferences and maintaining the Associate's space at Spike Island.
Marie-Anne McQuay
Curator
Marie-Anne McQuay joined the organisation in January 2007. She works across Spike Island's Exhibition, Residency and Public Programmes. She also co-ordinates the Associate Programme - a network of artists, curators and writers based in the city which launched in March 2007 and now has over 80 members.
Megan Wakefield
Spike Island / UWE Collaborative Doctorate
Megan Wakefield is studying for an AHRC-funded collaborative doctorate with Spike Island and UWE in Peer Learning in Contemporary Art Networks.
